Can I patch the pool? 7 years 1 month ago #1259

Hi,
I am trying to patch the ha-lizard no san installation and when trying to patch individual hosts, I run into the problems.

There is a script which automates the process:
github.com/dalgibbard/citrix_xenserver_patcher

One of the options is to run it on the master with -p option to patch the pool. I tried it on the test and it seemed to work ok.

Is this a supported way or doing it? Or am I looking for trouble?

As long as the tool does not automatically reboot any of the hosts it should be OK. You should always manually reboot the hosts (if required) after exposing the storage on the host that is not being rebooted

Thank you,
The tool patches the pool and then at the end notifies that it needs a reboot. So what in this situation should I do?
I am not sure what it means to expose the storage on the host that is not rebooted.
Both hosts are still part of the pool.
