Hey guys,
I'm kind of new in this HA world and I'd like to show you guys my project, at to see if I should change something before I start to break my head.

Im planning to purchase two servers with same configs below.

1 PE R730/xd Motherboard MLK
1 Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 2.1GHz,20M Cache,8.0GT/s QPI,Turbo,HT,8C/16T (85W) Max Mem
2133MHz
1 Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 2.1GHz,20M Cache,8.0GT/s QPI,Turbo,HT,8C/16T (85W) Max Mem
2133MHz
1 No Energy Star
1 R730/xd PCIe Riser 2, Center
1 R730/xd PCIe Riser 1, Right
1 Quick Sync Bezel
1 Chassis with up to 12, 3.5" Hard Drives
1 DIMM Blanks for System with 2 Processors
1 2400MT/s RDIMMs
1 Performance Optimized
2 32GB RDIMM, 2400MT/s, Dual Rank, x4 Data Width
2 Standard Heatsink for PowerEdge R730/R730xd
1 iDRAC8 Enterprise, integrated Dell Remote Access Controller, Enterprise
2 4TB 7.2K RPM NLSAS 512n 3.5in Hot-plug Hard Drive
1 PERC H730 Integrated RAID Controller, 1GB Cache
1 Dual, Hot-plug, Redundant Power Supply (1+1), 750W
2 Jumper Cord, 250V,2M,C14 (ANZ)
1 PE Server FIPS TPM 1.2v2 CC
1 Broadcom 5720 QP 1Gb Network Daughter Card
1 ReadyRails Sliding Rails With Cable Management Arm
1 RAID 1 for H330/H730/H730P (2 HDDs or SSDs)

This 2x servers will be mirrored by HA-Lizard on XenServer7

Basically I'll setup Xenserver on both as normal, shall I migrate the current vms before I follow the installation guide? Is this matter?

There's any possible incompatibility ?

Thanks.
Victor

Halizard is agnostic to the underlying hardware as long as xenserver supports your HW.

Regarding installation. If you will also install iscsi-ha for data replication, then you should not attempt this on a system with VM disk images in use. Installation should be performed on a pool with no vms as the storage will get blown away as part of the initial setup. If you can't move your vms off of the pool first, consider building by hand by following our reference design and modify the steps for setting up drbd which would otherwise erase a portion of your disk.
