I have been thinking of hosting all of our DNS servers on an HA cluster i have deployed, however I am wondering if HA lizard is DNS dependent? This wouldn't usually be a problem but im curious what would happen in a full failure scenario.

The core functionality has no DNS dependence apart from email alerts which are generally targeted to the FQDM of an SMTP server. In the event that DNS is down, email alerts would fail to send. Cluster operation would be unaffected by this.
