iSCSI SR Broken if I reboot Slave Server 4 years 9 months ago #1978

Hi Salvatore,

The update was a Major one, from XCP-ng Host 7.5.0 to XCP-ng Host 8.0.0. We have also reinstalled HA-Lizard after the upgrade, using the script, halizard.org/release/noSAN-combined/hali...osan_installer_2.1.4

iscsi-ha service is also running on both the hosts,

***********
[12:40 XEN05 ~]# systemctl -t service | grep iscsi
iscsi-ha-watchdog.service loaded active running SYSV: iscsi-ha watchdog script
iscsi-ha.service loaded active running SYSV: iscsi-ha init script version 2.1 December 2016
iscsi-shutdown.service loaded active exited Logout off all iSCSI sessions on shutdown
iscsid.service loaded active running Open-iSCSI
***********

We could see the output from command iscsi-cfg status. So is this is a usual behavior, where HA-Lizard is working properly even without the ha-cfg command?

The installer script you used is only intended for a brand new cluster build. It should never be run on top of an existing pool that was previously configured. With that said, I can only guess that ha-lizard is not installed and some metadata could have been lost when re-running the installer.

Detailed instructions for managing a dom0 upgrade are available in this post:

These instructions make it possible to perform a major dom0 version upgrade with no downtime to your VMs.
