FYI - using the CLI to enable/disable HA ("ha-cfg status") and to enable/disable HA per VM ("ha-cfg set-vm-ha") will validate entries to ensure that fields are always properly filled. The XenCenter custom field has no validations, so, other than the logs, there would be no warning of an incorrect setting.
