Guido,
The configuration for DRBD/TGT look correct. Also /dev/vgroup/lvolume should be OK as well.

"NOT initialized bitmap
New drbd meta data block successfully created." is the normal output when initializing meta data on a DRBD disk - this is not an error.

DRBD must be started on both nodes in order for them to get past the point of waiting for the peer. Are you starting DRBD on both hosts? Otherwise the host will just sit there waiting..

Yes, I started drbd on both hosts. I wait over a minute, but nothing happends.
Because I´m not shure if drbd has to connect correct in step 7, I follwed your howto until the end. Then I restart both servers, it was no really a surprise for me, that it did´nt work. But I would give it a try.
After reboot the logical volume is not mounted...

But the cause is, I think, in or before step 7.
I compare your settings with mine, but I can´t find any difference!

Can you please give me an advice how to find the bug?

P.S. If I understand you right, I have to choose "disk /dev/vgroup/lvolume;" and not disk "/dev/dm-0"? I ask, because fdisk -l shows /dev/dm-0 (see post #202)

It works like a charm!

Problems were:
1. a reboot during the installation - without switching ha-lizard & iscsi-ha and thair watchdogs services off before rebooting (eg. chkconf iscsi-ha off)
2. different names in targets.conf (I interpret hostname as the name of each host. They must be equal on both machines!
