Linux VMs don't live transfer 8 years 6 months ago #575

Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this same issue. Basically I have to following setup

2 Node cluster - bonded 10g links for redundancy for drbd replication and a gigabit port management/internet for vms (Migrating to separate them out)

The 2 servers are identical. The problem is, when I migrate a Linux VM to the other server the linux vm goes into a Read Only file-system. This happens no matter what I do. Recently, It has become worse where now the linux system won't even boot on the primary server, it will only run on the secondary.

Has anyone else experienced this before? Windows VMs work perfectly fine :/

We have not seen this in any of our development environments. Much of our testing is done with PV Linux VMs. The only time we see Linux VMs go into read-only mode is when connection to the storage is lost for several minutes.
