HA-Lizard or XenServer HA 8 years 1 month ago #693

Hello,

I have installed two XenServer with local storage only. I have installed the HA-Lizard nosan with success. I have activated the HA in Lizard and if I set the tag ha-lizard-enabled everything work fine. The DRBD is now syncing...

Now, should I activate the High Availability in the XenCenter ? Or do I need to use only Lizard with the tag ? What's the diference between the two solutions ?

Thanks

HA-Lizard is a complete replacement for the XenServer HA. The primary difference is that HA-Lizard provides predictable HA in a 2 node pool.

You can enable HA-Lizard through the custom field in Xencenter or from the command line with ha-cfg

Two node only is supported with the XenServer HA ? Or should I need to use HA-Lizard ?

XenServer HA does not support 2-node HA. You should keep the XenServer HA Off and enable HA-Lizard HA instead. If you turn them both on, HA-Lizard will disable itself and your pool will not function as expected during an HA event.
