Yes, I think about install XEN Server on USB or SD Card but I have some worries about stability and safety if XEN is installed on USB or SD CARD. Do you have any experience with this type of XEN installation? If yes - could you write how it look from your perspective? Thank you. Mike

All of my systems are installed to USB. The installation is very easy, and extremely easy to protect.

dd if=dev/sda1 of=/dev/sdb1

So once your systems are configured, you clone the original boot device, to a spare boot device.

Put the clone into the server, and start the server. Once confirmed that all is working, you put the original into a sealed envelope and put it somewhere safe.

It cost all of $10 bucks to do, for a full proof installation.

Good morning,
I tried install XEN Server 6.5 on USB but unfortunatelly with no luck and problem still existed. Finally I install XEN Server 6.2 and everything is OK :).
