HA not working as expected 9 years 7 months ago #290

Hi.
I am struggling with HA Lizard for a week now with no real success.
My setup is composed of 2 identical servers HP DL380 G6.
I installed XEN server, iscsi-ha and HA-Lizard.
When I tested if HA is working, I got bad results. I made some changes to configuration and it was the same.
For example - yesterday I forcefully shut-down the slave with 3 running VM's. The other one should brought up the VM's, but it did not. I saw in the logs that master saw status of virtual machines as running.
Can you please help me with that as I am getting headaches.

Please check your configuration. Ledge correctly pointed out that you have fencing disabled.

try "ha-cfg set FENCE_ENABLED 1" from the console of either of the 2 hosts.

Also, it would be helpful to see the log file from your test scenario. That will show us precisely what is going on.

The setup is a bit of a challenge at first but working through the issues is worth it in the end. i do have a successful test setup running now and working to implement into production mode now
