As the standard ha-lizard is a 2 node pool, it could be intersting to clone the first installed machine to a second one, prior to install ha software.

why not having a script to change the uuids and similar data to difference the cloned machine from the original one?

I mean cloning a fresh installed xenserver. Just prepared for installing the ha-software.

I think is needed to changue all the uuids in the cloned one.

Cloning a fresh xenserver dom0 may not be practical as it would not really save time vs a fresh install from ISO.

We are, however, in the early stages of scripting the entire installation of HA-Lizard+iSCSI-HA+DRBD+TGT components. This is a bit tricky though since there are multiple environments that would have to be considered.
