Hi!

Sorry for seemingly trivial question, but how can I float over the iscsi storage to the other host?

Is it bound to the master fo the 2 node group or can I float it to and back without any consequences?

Both iscsi-ha service and tgtd service are involved, and those are controlled by ha-cfg that is why I am asking.

thx

Hi!

Ok, is should have RTM-ed....

So as per working order, the iscsi storage is bound to operate from the pool master. I can manualli overrride as per last page of

iscsi-ha_2-node_clusterhowto_1.5_final.pdf

If I want to switch the storage becouse I know I ll be rebooting the master,
I can switch masters as per this forum post:

properly change master

Sorry for the forum spam.....

Thanks for updating the post. Per your update - switching to "manual mode" allows you to freely move the iscsi target between hosts.

!! remember to disable HA before rebooting one of the hosts.
