Hi!

I would like to ask a question regarding to the functionality of HA-Lizard. Our organization has built 2 XenServers attaching to a shared SAN Storage. The XenServers are also connected with each others via crossover cable. We have downloaded the Ha-Lizard v1.8.8 and configured it to the XenServers. We hope that in case a server is down, the VMs of this server can be tranferred to another server with zero downtime. In other words, those VMs would not be shutdown even if their original physical server is down. Is it possible to function like that? If yes, can you provide the steps?

What you are looking to achieve is not possible with HA-Lizard (or even XenServer HA). If you lose a physical host, any VMs on the host would essentially crash and then be automatically started on another host within a few seconds.

You should look at REMUS to achieve what you are looking for with Xen.
