Today I have tested to pull out power on the master of our two node setup.

Unfortunately, the slave has correctly tried to self promote to master but has failed for some reason.

Could you please check the log from the slave sent via email?

it looks like drbd failed to transition to primary mode. The log states that the drbd exit code is 17. Not sure what triggered it. Can you try checking the DRBD docs for exit status 17

Found the source of the problem: On an earlier HW test I had crashed the RAID0 drive of the slave. I was not aware that since this test the slave was in diskless condition.

I have now detached the isci1 device and recreated the meta data. Now it is syncing again.

I will repeat my power outage test after both nods are fully synced.

I could confirm that after DRBD synced the storage all test run smooth and as intended. So the setup of my 2 nodes no-san storage is working properly.

Now I finalize my documentatiomn and we will start to transfer the pool into production environment.
